DAY 12 & 13 FOOD & PERFOMANCE Q & A

For those that participated in this weekend's "Crossfit 4 Hope" workout....how did you feel?  Did you feel tired and run down, or did you feel better fueled and more energetic throughout this workout?

I am curious to learn how everyone felt about their performance on Saturday or in general about the latest workouts....

  1. I felt good about parts of it, but I really need work on my form with the snatch, it just felt awkward. And overall I was exhausted great workout though. Still having certain cravings though. I doubt they'll ever really go away.

  2. I know my mom noticed a difference in her performance and movements.

I was pleased that I stayed within 2 reps on each movement from the first round to the last. My pullups felt like they got better as I went. I'm feeling pretty good through the day and haven't felt like a day has seriously "dragged", but I can't tell if I am really improving in WODs. I think doing 5 a week is getting to me and plan on dropping one somewhere this week. :-/

  3. Didn't do Sat. event but feel strong some days and hit some PR's and other days not so great. No cravings but usually I lose weight on this better than I am this time. I am one that gets attached to the scale. Only do two fruits a day but may have to give that up to lose.

  4. I felt REALLY exhausted for some reason, but i think it's because I wasn't prepared with my water intake with this WOD and i went in the 1130 heat. It was so darn HOT. I don't have any cravings, which is nice. I'm still going strong with my eating just have had headaches the last two days including right after that WOD.

  5. I have been playing a lot of volleyball and feel like I am getting quicker and can jump higher. Not sure if it is because I'm eating healthier or just that I have been working out a lot more than I usually do. Probably a combination of both.

  6. I felt good at the beginning, then started to fade in the middle. I think it was due not eating my mid-morning snack before I got there. For today's WOD "Diane", I felt good and didn't feel like I was loosing steam.

  8. Not sure how I feel about my current eating plan at the moment. It has definitely made me feel stronger, but has made me weaker in other areas.

  9. I felt fairly decent after this event.. but I still was exhausted as hell throughout the whole thing. I still managed to get 200 reps, which to me is pretty damn good. I think that was due to me just trying to keep going without stopping.. even if I felt it was a slower pace. I liked the workout, but the thrusters killed me.
